Lois fell outside of a high school volleyball game and didn’t think anything of it. The next morning, her daughter-in-law took her to Ocean Medical Center where they discovered she had had a stroke. There, Lois received the highly advanced care she needed. To further her recovery, she underwent intensive therapy at Shore Rehabilitation Institute. To make her transition back to life in Point Pleasant much easier, nurses from Meridian At Home visited her, giving her the confidence she needed to maintain her independence. Since returning home, Lois enjoys working out at Meridian Life Fitness with Jackie Brow, her personal trainer. “They have all helped me so much,” said Lois. |
